"Cariboo" Apple cider vinegar

After pressing our apples, we ferment the juice into some great hard apple cider. This is then inoculated with Mother of Vinegar and left to slowly culture into apple cider vinegar. For the final few months, the vinegar ages in oak barrels to add a wonderful mellow flavour to its tartness . Our apple cider vinegar is available at the farm gate and at CaribooGrowers Store and the Station House Gallery in Williams Lake.
fruits and vegetables

Our farm is perched above the Fraser River on a small benchland of sandy loam soil. The warm nights and long summer days create a microclimate with more frost free time than much of the Cariboo-Chilcotin area. We are able to grow a wide variety of produce which we sell at the farm gate and at the CaribooGrowers Store in Williams Lake.
preserved foods

By preserving, we can enjoy many of our crops throughout the year, especially during the cold, dark winter days. Apple juice, raspberries, currants, and tart cherries are frozen. Cucumbers and beets are pickled. Apples, plums, pears, tart cherries, and beans are dried. These preserved food items are for sale at the farm gate and at CaribooGrowers in Williams Lake.
